Dan Friedkin is refusing to give up on Roma and has made a new offer to buy the club, Calcio e Finanza reports.

The Friedkin track seemed to have gone cold after his first bid was publicly denounced by Roma President James Pallotta.

However, Calcio e Finanza writes the businessman came back with an improved proposal earlier this week.

As per the website, he is still offering €490m (excluding an €85m cash injection) but with no conditions attached and all the cash up front.

Pallotta is expected to make a decision over the next 10 days as he continues to hold out for offers from elsewhere.

On the other hand, the website writes Friedkin could hold all the aces, given the Giallorossi look like needing to win the Europa League just to qualify for the Champions League next season.

The €85m cash injection, meanwhile, would cover new signings and help keep the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo at the Olimpico.
