Juventus are inviting a bidding war between Manchester City and PSG for Douglas Costa, it’s reported, with Wolves star Raul Jimenez as his replacement.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Douglas Costa as well as Federico Bernardeschi will be sacrificed this summer to raise funds for players more suited to Maurizio Sarri’s vision.
Brazilian winger Douglas Costa is of interest to both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, though he turns 30 in September and has a long history of muscular problems.
He has contributed three goals and seven assists in 27 competitive appearances for Juve so far this season.
Tuttosport maintain the replacement would be Mexican centre-forward Raul Jimenez, the 29-year-old currently lighting up the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He was purchased from Benfica for €41m and has 26 goals plus 10 assists in 51 official matches for Wolves this season.
