Eibar have officially decided against signing Sebastian Cristoforo on a permanent deal and the Uruguayan will therefore return to Fiorentina.
Cristoforo’s contract at the Artemio Franchi expires in June 2021 and his future in Florence is uncertain.
The midfielder has played 19 times in La Liga this term and the Basque club thanked him for his efforts and wished him all the best with his next challenges.
Last year, the 26-year-old was on loan at Getafe, after having signed a permanent deal with Fiorentina in July 2017.
The Viola had already had him on loan from Sevilla, who brought the Uruguayan from Penarol in August 2013.
Cristoforo has played 35 games for Fiorentina, contributing one goal and one assist.
