There are mixed reports over Cristiano Lucarelli’s next move, as while in England they tip him to become Watford director of football, he’s also linked with the Ternana coaching job.
The former Livorno, Torino and Parma striker is currently the coach of Serie C side Catania, who are on the verge of bankruptcy.
It means he’ll become a free agent and can choose his next destination.
Sky Sports UK are confident Lucarelli is in the UK for negotiations with Watford, with a plan to take over as their director of sport following relegation from the Premier League.
However, Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà maintains Lucarelli is in talks with Ternana to become their coach next season in Serie C.
