“After the win against Genoa we said that we wanted second,” the Argentine told Inter TV. “We know that another team have won the Scudetto, but we want to finish as high as possible.”

The 22-year-old admitted the stunning goal he scored against Napoli yesterday is up there with his best goals at Inter.

“The goal in last year’s friendly in Madrid was nice too, Dortmund and Prague as well. It’s difficult to rank them, but this was very nice.”

Inter travel to Bergamo next and the winner will secure second in Serie A.

“We arrive for the match against Atalanta in good shape,” Lautaro said. “We will work well these next two days and arrive charged to do what it takes to win and keep second place."
