The 27-year-old arrived on loan with an option to buy last summer and the Italy international has played 25 games in Serie A for the Nerazzurri this season.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims the Beneamata are hoping to avoid triggering the option to buy by extending his current loan and let Dalbert stay in Florence as part of the deal.

Coach Antonio Conte would like to keep Biraghi at Inter for next season also because the former Inter youth would be registered as a homegrown player in the Champions League.

Inter sold Biraghi for €5m to Pescara in July 2016, and after a loan stint at the Artemio Franchi, he moved to the Viola on a permanent deal in the summer of 2018.
