“We know Napoli always want to win, but we have nothing to lose, so we can play without pressure,” the defender told Lazio Style Radio and Sky Sport Italia.

“It has been an extraordinary season with so many records and we deserve second place. A campaign like ours does not deserve to end in fourth place.”

Immobile has 35 goals this term, so is already guaranteed the Capocannoniere crown and the European Golden Shoe award.

“We’ll try in every way to win the game, take home the result and hope that Ciro either equals or surpasses Gonzalo Higuain’s record. When we heard that Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t going to play, we all let out a big round of applause for him in the dressing room.

“Ciro deserves all the success in the world, as he adores Lazio and is a really good guy. We hope to help him score at least one goal this evening.

“Those who stay at this club must be happy and give our all for this jersey, otherwise it’s only right they may as well leave.”
