Roma patron James Pallotta has denied the rumours of a concrete offer from Kuwait entrepreneur Fahad Al Baker.

The two parties started negotiating in October last year but have struggled to agree on the terms for the takeover. Pallotta is reportedly eager to sell the club before 2021.
RomaPress revealed that a Kuwait-based consortium had ‘studied the financial data of the club’ regarding a potential bid.
Entrepreneur Fahad Al Baker announced on social media that he had made an offer, but Pallotta quashed the reports.
“It’s not true,” Pallotta told RomaPress. “I’ll have a great book when this is all over.”
It seems like The Friedkin Group remains in pole position and the RomaPress thinks we are entering a ‘decisive week’ for the Giallorossi.
