President Gabriele Gravina said the FIGC is ‘concerned’ ahead of Serie A 2020-21 and doesn’t think fans will be back in stadiums on September 19.
Serie A confirmed the dates for the upcoming season on Monday, starting on September 19 and ending on May 23, 2021.
Today, the Federal Council was held, and Gravina, who participated, told the reporters after the meeting: “We have worked a lot in recent days on the basic protocol.
“We are very concerned but at the same time committed to proposing solutions to our governing bodies, directly or indirectly through the Technical and Scientific Committee.
“We are sure that we will reopen stadiums if the health situation allows it, but it seems a bit optimistic to think about the first day.”
