Torino President Urbano Cairo said he had ‘hired a quality coach’ after having reportedly signed a two-year contract with Marco Giampaolo.
SportItalia reports that Giampaolo left Cairo’s office in Milan with a two-year deal and an option for a third year in Turin.
Giampaolo is reportedly heading straight to Casa Milan to resolve the situation with the Rossoneri, who replaced the former Sampdoria coach with Stefano Pioli in October.
“We have hired a quality coach, Giampaolo teaches football,” Cairo said to SportItalia, according to TMW. “We are very satisfied.
“Now, we must do things with humility. Tiptoe around and try to do well.”
