The first leg ended 1-1 at the Stadio San Paolo, so the Partenopei need to score a goal to have any hope of reaching the quarter-finals.

“For all players, it’s special to be at Camp Nou. I’m Spanish, played many times here and have never won, so this can be the right day to break that run,” the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.

“We know Barcelona are very strong, with the best players in the world, but we can do it, have worked hard for this game and can make history with a victory this evening.”

Fabian Ruiz worked with Quique Setien, so does he think the rumours of Barcelona using a three-man defence are true?

“I don’t know. We can expect a Barcelona side that wants to keep the ball, hold possession, and it’ll be very similar to the game we played in Naples. Anything is possible in football.”
