Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi seems set for a move to Inter Miami and has reportedly gone through the required medical tests in Paris.
Calciomercato.com and Tuttomercatoweb both reveal that the French midfielder is the first player to leave the Bianconeri after Maurizio Sarri’s farewell.
The two outlets write that Matuidi is set for a new adventure in the MLS and has been through the medical examinations in Paris today.
Olympique Lyonnais were reportedly ready to offer him the captaincy at the Groupama Stadium, but the World Cup winner has decided to move overseas and join David Beckham’s club in USA.
Matuidi will either terminate his contract with Juventus, expiring in June 2021, or sold free of charge.
The 33-year-old has a contract worth €4m a year in Turin, recently renewed through an option in the previous deal.
Calciomercato claims Juventus have allowed agent Mino Raiola to find a solution in very short time and the France international has chosen Inter Miami.
