Milan have reportedly rejected offers from Sassuolo and Hellas Verona for Tommaso Pobega and are preparing a new deal until June 2025 for the midfielder.
The 21-year-old spent 2019-20 on loan at Pordenone in Serie B but could have a future at San Siro, as Stefano Pioli wants an alternative to Franck Kessie in the Diavolo squad.
Pobega contributed five goals and four assists in his 31 League matches for Pordenone in 2019-20 and has allegedly been targeted by Serie A clubs Sassuolo and Verona.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Milan have rejected the offers from their rivals in the top flight and are preparing to extend Pobega’s deal until June 2025.
Pobega, who came through the academy at Milan, is currently tied to Milan until June 2022.
