Fiorentina defender German Pezzella has reportedly rejected Napoli and Roma and plan to sign a new deal with the Viola.
Il Corriere Fiorentino claims Napoli, Roma and Valencia have targeted Fiorentina’s Argentine captain, who played 33 games in 2019-20 and scored three goals in the process.
But the newspaper says the defender has decided to continue in Florence and will soon sign a new contract with the club.
The 29-year-old, capped 16 times by Argentina, arrived from Real Betis in August 2017, initially on loan before the Viola signed him for €9.75m.
His current contract at the Artemio Franchi expires in June 2022.
