Serie B side Venezia announce that Paolo Zanetti is their new coach, signing a contract to June 2022.
The 37-year-old is a former Vicenza, Empoli, Torino and Atalanta player who retired in 2014.
He began his management career in Serie C at Sudtirol, then was in charge of Ascoli this season until his dismissal in January.
Zanetti replaces Alessio Dionisi on the Venezia bench and has signed a two-year contract with the Lagunari.
Venezia finished this season in mid-table after 12 wins, 14 draws and 12 defeats.
