Borussia Dortmund have joined Atletico Madrid and Everton in their pursuit of Napoli midfielder Allan, but aren’t ready to offer as much.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Germans are the latest candidates to have shown their interest in the 29-year-old Brazilian.
However, they do not intend to bid more than €25m plus performance-related bonuses.
That is a long way off the €40m asking price, not to mention significantly less than the reported €38m including bonuses that Everton and Atletico Madrid are prepared to pay.
Everton had been the favourites due to the presence of former Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti, but Atleti can take the lead, as they are in the Champions League and will challenge for silverware.
