Report: Lazio turn to James

After losing David Silva to Real Sociedad, Lazio are reportedly preparing to make a move for Real Madrid forward James Rodriguez or bring back Felipe Anderson from West Ham United.

The Spanish playmaker moved on a free transfer from Manchester City to Real Sociedad and left Lazio furious, as the Biancocelesti were sure the 34-year-old was coming to the Olimpico.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Felipe Anderson could get offered a return to the Italian capital, whilst says the Aquile are preparing to make a move for the Colombian attacking midfielder James Rodriguez.

The outlet highlights that Lazio could struggle paying Rodriguez’ high wages but could spread the contract over several years to complete a deal for the Colombia international.
