Torino are the latest Serie A side to be linked with Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira, as he’d reunite with ex-Sampdoria coach Marco Giampaolo.
Torreira spent most of his career in Italy, with Pescara and then Sampdoria, until the €29m move to Arsenal in the summer of 2018.
The 24-year-old has struggled for playing time lately and is reportedly seeking a return to the Peninsula.
According to Tuttosport newspaper, new Torino coach Giampaolo personally called Torreira to ask if he’s open to a reunion, having already worked together at Sampdoria.
Other Italian clubs interested in Torreira are Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina.
