Everton close on Allan deal

Everton are edging closer to the €40m Napoli asking price for Allan, as the midfielder continues to focus only on the Toffees.

Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the Brazilian, but he is determined to get a reunion with ex-Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the latest offer from Everton is £25m plus £4-5m in bonuses, which translates to approximately €35m.

The Napoli asking price is €40m, negotiations are continuing, but should be finalised next week.

It’s the end of the road at the Stadio San Paolo for the 29-year-old, who has been at the club since leaving Udinese in 2015.

Allan is not part of the project under current coach Gennaro Gattuso, who replaced Ancelotti in December.

He had been close to PSG a couple of years ago, but Napoli wanted €50m and his relationship with the club never quite recovered.
