Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva confirmed he has played his ‘last match’ for the French champions, revealed talks with Fiorentina but admitted ‘nothing has been signed yet’.
Les Parisiens lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich in the Champions League Final last night and the Brazilian defender declared his time in the French capital is up.
“It was my last match with Paris Saint-Germain,” Thiago Silva told Sky Sport Italia. “I’m very happy with my eight years in Paris, I dreamed of this Champions League.
“I gave everything but now I have to look for a new team.”
The former Milan centre-back has been offered a return to Serie A by Fiorentina, but the defender said he is still considering his options.
“Fiorentina? My agent is talking to them and other teams, but nothing is signed yet,” he added. “Tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, I will have to understand the offers and make the best decision for me and my family."
