Milan have reportedly made €30m available for the transfer market, heavily limited by the impact of the forced break in 2019-20.
The impact of COVID-19 has been significant, as Milan are one of many clubs who have suffered lost revenues and sponsorship money during the three-month stop.
Calciomercato.com claims the Rossoneri hierarchy are working to reduce costs at Milanello and have granted a transfer budget of €30m for technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara to work with.
On top of that, the duo will have access to the revenue from player sales. Davide Calabria has been linked with a move away this summer and could add an extra €12m to the current budget.
The renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not affect the budget and Tiemoue Bakayoko could arrive on a loan deal with an €30m option to buy next summer.
