The 27-year-old Croatia international is no longer central to coach Antonio Conte’s plans, especially after a series of off the field incidents that included crashing his car when over the alcohol limit.

According to le10sport.com and L’Equipe writer Karim Nedjari, PSG director Leonardo considers Brozovic to be ‘a priority’ for his midfield.

The Nerazzurri are already hard at work to bring in new players for those roles, such as Arturo Vidal and Sandro Tonali, so there would be precious little room for Brozovic anyway.

He has been at San Siro since 2016 and his contract runs to June 2022, but his relationship with the fans has soured.

The player got into a row with ultras on social media last week, as he responded to a request his future be far away from Milan with: “Hope so.”
