Done deal: Miranchuk to Atalanta

Atalanta have agreed a €14.5m deal with Lokomotiv Moscow for Aleksei Miranchuk, claim reports in Italy, and he'll sign a five-year contract.

The creative midfielder had also been in talks with Milan, but La Dea won out in the end.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Gianluca Di Marzio, Fabrizio Romano and others, the agreement has been reached and only the paperwork now needs to be completed for a five-year contract.

It’s a transfer worth €14.5m, although Lokomotiv Moscow will also be owed a percentage of his sell-on fee.

He’ll turn 25 in October and has five goals in 25 senior caps for Russia.

Currently out of action with a thigh injury, that will be taken into account during Miranchuk’s medical with Atalanta.

Aleksei is leaving behind his twin brother Anton in the Lokomotiv squad.
