Sporting Braga are reportedly on the verge of signing Sassuolo and Italy Under-21 international striker Gianluca Scamacca, on loan with option to buy.
The 21-year-old has just returned to base after a season-long loan in Serie B with Ascoli, where he scored 13 goals.
He also had loans at Cremonese and PEC Zwolle, while he spent time in the Roma and PSV Eindhoven youth academies.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Sassuolo are now in advanced negotiations to send Scamacca to Portuguese side Sporting Braga.
Calciomercato.it claim the deal will be €3m for the loan and option to buy for €25m.
Scamacca is also said to be in favour of the move and ready to agree personal terms.
If the sale does go through, then PSV Eindhoven are owed 10 per cent of the fee thanks to the agreement they struck when selling him for just €500,000 in January 2017.
Scamacca has represented Italy at every youth level, including four goals in eight Under-21 caps.
