Massimo Oddo is officially the new coach of Pescara, returning to the club he had already worked with from 2015-17.
The 44-year-old had been in advanced negotiations and Sportitalia stated he was after a two-year contract.
The brief statement announcing his appointment does not mention the length of the contract, though.
Oddo had already taken Pescara to promotion from Serie B to A during his tenure in 2015-17.
Since then, he has gone on to roles at Udinese, Crotone and Perugia.
He was sacked by Perugia twice in the 2019-20 season and the team was ultimately relegated by losing the play-offs to Pescara.
