Arsenal have left Lucas Torreira out of the squad for the Community Shield, pointing towards a Serie A move for Roma, Torino or Fiorentina.
Agent Pablo Bentancur told Calciomercato.com that “the coach and Arsenal must work out if they need Torreira or not.”
It seems as if he got his answer, because the Uruguay international was not even on the bench for today’s Community Shield match against Liverpool.
The agent also said that no formal offers had been made yet, but this could be the signal to spark those bids.
Fiorentina have surged forward in their interest over the last few days, but Roma and Torino are also in the running.
The 24-year-old spent much of his career in Italy with Pescara and Sampdoria before the €28.65m move to Arsenal in the summer of 2018.
