Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali hopes to keep Manuel Locatelli and Jeremie Boga at the Mapei Stadium for 2020-21.
The former Milan midfielder Locatelli has impressed during his time with the Neroverdi, leading to reports of interest from Inter and Juventus.
But the 22-year-old is not the only Sassuolo player who has been targeted this summer, as Boga has been linked with a move to Napoli and Inter.
But Sassuolo CEO Carnevali sees no need to sell and wants to keep the pair for another season.
“It could happen,” Carnevali admitted to Sky Sport Italia. “But if there are no special needs, we would like to continue with Boga and Locatelli.”
