Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has revealed the Nerazzurri are not in for Barcelona talisman Lionel Messi and said the Nerazzurri never entered talks with the Bluagrana about Lautaro Martinez.
Messi has asked to leave Barcelona and Inter have been linked to the Argentina captain, but Ausilio confessed it’s not a realistic move for the Serie A giants.
“There’s nothing about Messi, I don’t even know where these ideas come from,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “There’s no one in football who wouldn’t want Messi.
“But then there’s the reality of the facts.”
Lautaro Martinez has been linked in the opposite direction, but Ausilio says the Blaugrana haven’t entered talks with Inter about the 22-year-old Argentine.
“No negotiations have started for Lautaro Martinez because in reality nothing ever happened,” he added. “We never started the negotiations, there was a clause and that.”
