Patron Aurelio De Larentiis has revealed Napoli are in talks with Arsenal over Sokratis Papastathopoulos and will allow Kalidou Koulibaly and Arek Milik leave the San Paolo ‘with the right conditions’.
The Partenopei lost Lille defender Gabriel to the Gunners and the President said they are working to sign Sokratis.
“We are working on signing Sokratis Papastathopoulos from Arsenal, we consider it an option,” De Laurentiis told reports at Castel di Sangro, according to IlNapoliOnline.com.
The patron confirmed he will let both Koulibaly and Milik leave for the right price.
“Yes, but with the right conditions. When there are important offers, we will sell,” he said. “In this country which guarantees nothing to anyone and in this Europe, which is in total decay, the fans need to live for the day.
“We will do our best. They offered me €100m and I rejected it, doing damage to my club.”
De Laurentiis wants to see the fans return to the San Paolo.
“Absolutely, yes. I don’t see any reason not to. I hope that with the social distancing out of 56,000, we could have 23,000 in the stadium.”
