Atalanta have officially signed Aleksei Miranchuk from Lokomotiv Moscow in a deal believed to be worth €14.5m plus bonuses.

The creative midfielder spent his entire career at Lokomotiv along with his twin brother, Anton.

He passed a medical earlier this week and put pen to paper on the contract this afternoon.

It’s reported that Lokomotiv Moscow have a percentage of a future sell-on fee if Miranchuk leaves Atalanta.

The Russia international turns 25 next month and was brought in as an alternative to Josip Ilicic, who is still out of the squad dealing with personal matters.

Miranchuk has 25 senior caps for his country, scoring five goals.

He signed a four-year contract with option for an extra season, earning €2m plus bonuses per year.
