Marca maintain that Luis Suarez has agreed personal terms with Juventus worth €10m per season net once he breaks free of Barcelona.

Like Arturo Vidal heading towards Inter, Suarez has been told to find himself another club and forced to train separately from the rest of Ronald Koeman’s team.

He is negotiating to terminate his contract by mutual consent with less than a year left to run on the deal, although there was an option to extend until 2022.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Suarez’s future has already been sealed, agreeing terms with Juventus for a two-year contract plus option for another season.

It’s set to be worth €10m net per year, which is slightly less than he earns at Barcelona.

The Blaugrana are busy whittling down their squad under new coach Koeman and could follow a similar path to the one set by Ivan Rakitic’s sale to Sevilla.

He was allowed to leave for a minimal €1.5m fee.

There are other problems for Suarez, specifically his lack of an EU passport, which means he’d have to take up a valuable slot in the squad.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juventus have organised lessons for the Uruguay international, as he must take an Italian language test next week in Barcelona to pass the first hurdle towards an Italian passport.

Suarez’s wife Sofia is the daughter of a man who emigrated from the Friuli region of Italy to Montevideo.
