Giacomo Bonaventura has reached an agreement with Fiorentina and will sign the contract after the required medical.
After six years at Milan, Bonaventura has chosen to continue his career at the Artemio Franchi with a reported two-year deal.
Hellas Verona and Benevento tried to challenge the Viola, but Bonaventura has reportedly decided to move to Florence and could appear for his first training session with the club tonight.
The 31-year-old was released by Milan after 184 competitive games for the club, contributing 35 goals and 30 assists.
