Serie A newcomers Spezia have officially signed goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet from PSV Eindhoven on a two-year contract.
The 29-year-old has 11 senior caps for the Netherlands and recently had a six-month loan spell with FC Utrecht.
This is a permanent transfer and he has put pen to paper on a two-year deal with Spezia.
The cost of the operation is reportedly €1.4m.
It will be Spezia’s first ever Serie A experience, as they were promoted after winning the play-offs.
A statement from the club notes Zoet has already passed his COVID-19 test and will therefore be in training with coach Vincenzo Italiano and his new teammates from tomorrow.
