Borja Valero is making his return to Fiorentina after three years at Inter, claim Sky Sport Italia.
The Spaniard already spent five seasons at the Stadio Franchi and never lost his love for the club, city or fans.
He even has the co-ordinates of Florence’s Ponte Vecchio tattooed on his arm.
The 35-year-old is a free agent, as Inter decided not to extend his contract when it expired last month.
Borja Valero was linked with Verona, Genoa and Parma, but a return to Fiorentina was always top of his wish-list.
It’s reported to be a one-year contract with the Viola, adding to his tally of 212 appearances for the club.
