Gonzalo Higuain is on the verge of accepting a contract resolution with Juventus, which will then allow him to join Inter Miami as a free agent.
The striker is not part of new coach Andrea Pirlo’s plans and acknowledged he cannot change their minds, especially as he only has one more year left on his contract.
His brother and agent Nicolas flew to Italy this week for negotiations and it’s widely reported they are close to a successful conclusion.
That would see Higuain terminate his contract early and, according to Tuttosport, receive just under 50 per cent of the remaining year’s salary.
It is also reported he has already said goodbye to his teammates and emptied out his locker.
Sportitalia note that although Pipita has several offers, the absolute favourites are MLS club Inter Miami, co-owned by David Beckham.
