Coach Fabio Liverani warns ‘it will take time to work on different tactical concepts’, but was still pleased with the 6-0 friendly win over Pro Sesto.
The Ducali ran riot against the Serie C side this evening, with Roberto Inglese converting a penalty, then Matteo Darmian, Jacopo Dezi, Gervinho, Simonetti and Luca Siligardi on target.
It was only 1-0 until half-time, with the substitutions making a big difference.
“It’s all still very new, especially our positioning in possession, as it will take time to work on different tactical concepts,” Liverani told the club website.
“We need some patience to create a team with these movements drilled into them. We don’t have much time, of course, but you need harmony in your movements to make a team play good football, with anything from posture to the positioning of your feet.”
