Paris Saint-Germain are ready to double Milan Skriniar’s current salary in order to tempt him away from Inter, claim reports.

The 25-year-old centre-forward is under contract at San Siro until June 2023 and has repeatedly stated he doesn’t want to leave.

However, he dropped down the pecking order under Antonio Conte and could bring in a big profit if sold for the €50m asking price.

It has already been reported that PSG see him as an ideal replacement for Thiago Silva.

Now FCInterNews.it claim agent Marcelo Simonian has personally flown out to Milan for negotiations with Inter and Skriniar.

This report also suggests that PSG are prepared to offer a five-year contract that would double his current salary.

With Diego Godin also on the way out towards Cagliari, it seems as if Conte is trying to repopulate his defence with players more suited to a three-man system.

Skriniar struggled to adapt and was left on the bench for each of the last seven games of the season.
