Vedat Muriqi has claimed his characteristics are perfect for Lazio’s ‘style of play’ and hopes to be ‘successful’ in the Italian capital.
The Kosovo international has arrived for his medical with the Aquile, ahead of his €20m move from Fenerbahce.
The striker, who scored 15 goals in 32 Super Lig matches last term, thinks he will fit in at the Biancocelesti.
“I see myself suited for their style of play,” he told reports at the airport, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
“Lazio played with two strikers in most games last season. They said they needed a striker like me.
“I chose them too. For me, the team’s success comes first, then the individual. I go to a new team and I hope to be successful.
“I want to play in the best clubs in the world over the next few years. I will do my best for Lazio.”
