OFFICIAL: Crotone sign Dragus

Crotone have officially announced the signing of Denis Dragus from Standard Liege on loan with an option to buy. 'I can't wait for my first match'.

The Romanian won the domestic cup and the Super Cup with FC Viitorul in his homeland before moving to Standard Liege on a five-year deal last summer.

The 21-year-old played three competitive games for the Belgian side and has officially moved to Crotone after one season with Standard Liege.

“The Football Club Crotone announce that they have signed Denis Dragus from Standard Liege on loan with an option to buy,” the club wrote in a statement.

Dragus said he ‘can’t wait’ for his first match and hopes to show the fans why Crotone picked him up from the Jupiler Pro League.

“I’m very happy to be here and I’m really excited to wear these colours,” he told the club’s official channel.

“I can’t wait to play my first match for the club. I think I’m a technical player and I hope the coach and the supporters will see that.

“I hope I will get the chance to show my qualities here and help the club.”
