Genoa have officially announced the return of Edoardo Goldaniga, who comes on another loan deal from Sassuolo but with an option to buy.
The 26-year-old centre-back is back after having spent last term on loan at the Marassi and leaves Sassuolo after three years.
The former Juventus player, capped twice by Italy Under-21, arrived at the Mapei Stadium from Palermo in July 2017 and played his 100th Serie A match against Hellas Verona in the last match of 2019-20.
“The Club announces that they have signed Edoardo Goldaniga on loan with an option to buy,” the statement read.
“The player has already worn the Rossoblu shirt in 2019-20, collecting 14 appearances and one goal.”
