Chiellini admitted he was surprised superstar Cristiano Ronaldo arrived at the Allianz Stadium.

“Since we brought him in, he has been an added value,” Chiellini said. “I didn’t think he couldcome here and I was really happy to play with such a champion.”

The centre-back has admitted he might retire after Euro 2020.

“I think about every now and then, with serenity. It will certainly change my life, but it doesn’t scare me. I don’t set limits for myself, although I’m aware that it will surely be a short-term thing.

“I have come from an injury, I begin to feel good and I’m enjoying this return. Then slowly we’ll see.”
