Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik has passed the first part of his medical ahead of signing for Roma.

Sportmediaset, Calciomercato.com and Tuttosport all report Milik underwent tests in Switzerland earlier today to confirm there were no problems with his knees.

The 26-year-old’s spell at San Siro was curtailed by two ACL injuries, but exams showed no issues.

He has since returned to Italy, taking a flight to Rome Ciampino airport, and is expected to complete the second part of his medical on Saturday.

Milik is set to replace Edin Dzeko at Roma, having agreed a five-year contract worth up to €6m a season after tax.

The Giallorossi, for their part, will take him on a season-long loan with an obligatory purchase option next summer worth €28m inclusive of bonuses.
