Juventus are reportedly bringing Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata back to the Allianz Stadium on a season-long loan.
Deportes Cuatro claims the Bianconeri have reached an agreement with Atleti over the Spain international.
Juventus have been linked with Edin Dzeko in recent weeks, but complications has stalled Napoli forward Arek Milik's move to Roma and threatens to collapse the whole operation.
Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici has therefore held his door open to other alternatives, Tuttomercato mentioned both Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud and Morata after the Old Lady passed on Luis Suarez, who could end up replacing Morata at the Wanda Metropolitano this summer.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports the former Chelsea forward could come on a €10m paid loan with a €45m option to buy.
Morata spent two years at Juventus from 2014 to 2016, winning two Scudetti and contributing 15 goals in 63 games.
The report claims he is keen to work with his former teammate Andrea Pirlo and pushes for a move to the Italian champions.
