Telefoot Chaine in France claim that PSG and Arsenal are interested in signing Italy international Jorginho on loan from Chelsea.
It seems an unlikely turn of events, especially as the Blues wanted at least €50m when Juventus attempted to get the midfielder for then-coach Maurizio Sarri last season.
Telefoot correspondent Saber Desfarges insists Arsenal at the favourites, which would seem even more implausible, considering they are London rivals.
Paris Saint-Germain already have two Italians in their squad, Marco Verratti and Alessandro Florenzi, so Jorginho would effectively reunite the Azzurri pair in the middle of the park.
The 28-year-old was purchased from Napoli for €57m in the summer of 2018 and he remained under current boss Frank Lampard.
He scored a goal and provided an assist in the 3-1 win over Brighton, saw his penalty saved by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson and was on the bench for yesterday’s 3-3 thriller with West Bromwich Albion.
