Line-ups: Bologna v Parma

Bologna throw Scottish defender Aaron Hickey straight into the starting XI for his debut in the Emilia-Romagna Derby against Parma.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT), follow the build-up and action as it happens on the LIVEBLOG.

Sinisa Mihajlovic defended his team’s performance after the 2-0 opening round defeat to Milan, decided by a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace.

Mitchell Dijks was sent off in that fixture and is therefore suspended this evening, replaced by new signing Hickey at left-back.

The Scottish starlet just completed his transfer from Hearts, preferring Bologna to Bayern Munich and Celtic.

Andreas Skov Olsen is picked rather than Riccardo Orsolini, with Roberto Soriano and Musa Barrow supporting veteran Rodrigo Palacio.

Parma lost 2-0 to Napoli last weekend, but make changes with Yann Karamoh and Gervinho providing pace upfront rather than the physicality of Andreas Cornelius and Roberto Inglese.

Jacopo Dezi steps in to the midfield with Juraj Kucka, but Cornelius is not even on the bench due to a muscular issue.

Bologna: Skorupski; De Silvestri, Danilo, Tomiyasu, Hickey; Schouten, Poli; Skov Olsen, Soriano, Barrow; Palacio

Parma: Sepe; Laurini, Iacoponi, Bruno Alves, Darmian; Hernani, Brugman, Dezi; Kucka; Gervinho, Karamoh
