Fiorentina are hoping to keep captain German Pezzella and are reportedly preparing a new deal for the Argentine.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims the Viola are doing all they can to keep Pezzella, who made his move from Real Betis permanent in July 2018.
The 29-year-old defender’s contract expires in June 2022 and the newspaper reports the Viola are hoping to extend until 2024.
President Rocco Commisso has no intentions of selling his captain in the last week of the transfer market and will offer Pezzella a bumper new deal.
Pezzella, who has been linked with Milan in recent months, has played 104 competitive games for Fiorentina, scoring six times in the process.
