River Plate have accepted an offer from Fiorentina for defender Lucas Martinez Quarta, claim multiple sources, for €6m plus €6m in bonuses.
The negotiations had hit problems over the last few days, but suddenly surged forward again to reach an agreement on Friday night.

The 24-year-old is expected to undergo his medical in Argentina today, so that he can then go on international duty with Argentina on Sunday.
A five-year contract has been drawn up for the centre-back, who already has two senior caps for his country.
The River Plate talent was only under contract until June 2021.
