Lyon have reportedly ended all negotiations for Memphis Depay and Houssem Aouar, blocking off Barcelona, Juventus and Arsenal.
President Jean-Michel Aulas had warned he would not sell the stars if a deal had not been done by Friday and was seemingly true to his word.
According to RMC Sport, club sources told them any talks for these players had been terminated.
Depay was the first choice for Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman as replacement for Luis Suarez.
Juve were in the running with Arsenal for creative midfielder Aouar, who was valued at over €50m, but it looks as if the 22-year-old is going nowhere in this transfer window.
