Parma announced Juan Francisco Brunetta has arrived from Godoy Cruz, with Amad Traore, Simon Sohm and Valentin Mihalia to follow.

“Parma Calcio are pleased to announce that Juan Francisco Brunetta (12/5/1997, Laboulaye) has joined the Club from Club Deportivo Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba on an initial loan deal, with there being an obligation to buy thereafter. 

“Brunetta has signed a contract lasting until 30 June 2025,” read a statement.

The 23-year-old creative midfielder flew in from Argentina and is expected to complete the medical tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Parma owner Kyle Krause also tweeted hints at the next upcoming deals that will be finalised before Monday’s transfer deadline.

They include Traore on loan from Atalanta, securing the Ivorian 18-year-old who had also been of interest to Manchester United after his spectacular scoring form for the Dea youth team.

Sohm is a 19-year-old defensive midfielder who can also play in the back-line and he is coming in from FC Zurich.

Romanian 20-year-old winger Mihalia is already in Italy for his medical, with Parma paying Universitatea Craiova a reported €7-8m.
