Douglas Costa has officially returned to Bayern Munich on loan from Juventus.
The Brazilian winger has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Stadium since the end of last season and on the last day he officially moves back to the Bundesliga giants.
Yesterday, the done deal was reported in Italian media, and the Bavarians announced the signing today.
“Bayern have signed Douglas Costa on loan from Juventus. The Brazilian, who played for the German champions between 2015 and 2017, is on loan from Juventus for this season,” the club wrote in a statement.
The 30-year-old arrived from Bayern three years ago and has won three Scudetti, one Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana during his time in Turin.
The winger contributed 10 goals and 21 assists in 103 competitive games for the Italian champions.
